**As of Thursday April 9th, the Supreme Court has not issued a verdict. They will meet next on Monday April 20th.
Last year, the U.S. Supreme Court heard three cases that could either take away existing LGBTQ+ employment protections, or affirm that existing federal law does protect LGBTQ+ people.
This is a pivotal moment for our community. So we’re inviting you to join us on #DecisionDay for a Virtual National Rally, followed by a Virtual Town Hall . The rally will be a chance for us to gather together as a community to react and support each other, while the Town Hall will feature experts providing analysis of the opinion, how it will affect our lives, and what still needs to be done. RSVP to those events here.
The Court must affirm that all LGBTQ+ people should be able to work hard and support themselves and their families without fear of discrimination at work — protections already affirmed by multiple federal courts and agencies for many years. We will also need to continue our work for full federal nondiscrimination protections. So RSVP, and let’s come together as a virtual community for #DecisionDay.
